About Tomaž Roblek

I'm originally from Ljubljana, Slovenia, and my first steps into the world of space and movement began on stage — as a ballet dancer with the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor. That early experience deeply shaped how I perceive rhythm, atmosphere, and the relationship between bodies and space, eventually guiding me toward architecture.

I studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in Studio Greg Lynn, where I developed a strong foundation in conceptual thinking and computational design. My Master’s thesis brought together my two passions — architecture and performance — exploring how movement can inform and shape spatial experience.

Currently, I’m working at Delugan Meissl Associated Architects (DMAA) in Vienna, where I’ve been involved in large-scale international projects, from urban megastructures to residential high-rises. My work focuses on parametric design, masterplanning, and BIM-based workflows, blending precision with creativity.

Across all my projects, I aim to combine technical rigor with a thoughtful, design-driven approach — drawing on a range of experiences across disciplines, cultures, and scales.
